Charity & Youth Events

We reach over a thousand children directly or indirectly every year. Activities funded, either entirely or partially, by the CBLBC include:

• Fishing trips
• Snorkeling trips
• Glass bottom boat rides
• Educational tours and field trips to local marine environments
• Youth Fishing Clinics
• Summer Camps to outdoor destinations
• Capt. Bob Lewis Kid’s Fishing Challenge - An annual youth fishing tournament (free to the general pubic)
• Scholarships

In addition to the above, in 2004 we gave away over 1,000 rods and spinning reels to various organizations and children in South Florida.

It is our hope and dream to encourage the youth we reach for to be:

• Environmentally responsible
• Attentive to marine conservation issues
• Appreciative of the sport we all cherish
